Internship Pathway for Interested Students

Start Your AI Career – Even If You Are a Beginner

Many students are interested in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Data Science, but hesitate to apply for internships because they believe they need advanced technical knowledge before applying.

At SHALINK & REYX INFINITY RESEARCH HUB PRIVATE LIMITED, we believe that every motivated student should have the opportunity to learn and participate in research innovation. If you are interested in AI and emerging technologies but do not yet have prior knowledge or project experience, you can still begin your journey with us.

Through our SHALINK TRAINING DIVISON, students receive structured training in essential skills before officially joining the Research Internship Program. This approach allows students to build foundational knowledge, gain practical exposure, and then participate in real research projects with confidence.

How the Internship Pathway Works

Students who are interested in AI internships but lack technical experience can follow a two-stage learning pathway.

STAGE - 01

Skill Development Training

Students first join the SHALINK Training Program, where expert trainers provide structured learning sessions covering the fundamental skills required for AI and data science.

This training is designed specifically for beginners and helps students build strong technical foundations.

STAGE - 02

Official Research Internship

After completing the required skill training and demonstrating readiness, students are incorporated into the SHALINK & REYX Research Internship Program. During this stage, students participate in:

  • AI research projects
  • Data analysis tasks
  • Software development activities
  • Research documentation
  • Innovation and prototype development

This pathway ensures that even students without prior experience can gradually develop into capable research interns.

Training Support from SHALINK Training Division

The SHALINK & REYX Training Division provides structured guidance to help students develop the technical and analytical skills required for modern AI careers. Training includes both conceptual learning and practical exercises, enabling students to gain confidence before starting internship projects.

Students interested in this pathway are encouraged to refer to OUR TRAINING PAGE to explore available learning programs designed to boost eligibility for internships.

Skills Covered During Training

To prepare students for AI research internships, our trainers provide training in key technical areas such as:

Students learn essential programming skills used in AI development.

Topics include:

  • Python programming
  • Data structures and algorithms
  • Code debugging and modular programming

Students learn how to work with data and prepare it for analysis and machine learning models.

Training topics include:

  • Data collection and preprocessing
  • Data manipulation using NumPy and Pandas
  • Data visualisation using tools such as Matplotlib

Students gain an introduction to the concepts behind AI models.

Topics include:

  • Supervised and unsupervised learning
  • Model evaluation techniques
  • Avoiding overfitting
  • Basic machine learning algorithms

Students are introduced to commonly used AI development tools such as:

  • Jupyter Notebook
  • Google Colab
  • Scikit-learn
  • Git and GitHub for version control

These tools are widely used in industry and research environments.

With the rapid rise of generative AI technologies, students are also introduced to modern concepts including:

  • Prompt engineering fundamentals
  • Transformer-based models
  • Embeddings and vector databases
  • Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)

These skills help students understand the latest developments in AI applications.

Technical skills alone are not sufficient for successful internships. Our training also focuses on developing professional skills required in technology environments.

Students learn:

  • Analytical problem-solving approaches
  • Technical communication and documentation
  • Critical thinking and validation of results
  • Collaboration and teamwork

These skills prepare students for both research environments and future industry roles.

Students interested in AI research and innovation are encouraged to apply, including:

  • Undergraduate students (B.Tech, B.E, B.Sc, BCA)
  • Postgraduate students (M.Tech, M.Sc, MCA)
  • Students from computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related disciplines
  • Students who are curious about AI but have not yet gained practical experience

Motivation to learn and participate in research activities is considered more important than prior technical expertise.

Students applying for Training cum internships at SHALINK & REYX INFINITY RESEARCH HUB should normally meet the following criteria:

  • Currently pursuing a relevant undergraduate or postgraduate program
  • Minimum 6.0 CGPA or equivalent academic performance

Students who require additional preparation can first join the SHALINK Training Program to strengthen their technical knowledge.

This structured training and internship pathway helps students:

  • Build strong foundations in AI and data science
  • Gain practical project experience
  • Develop research thinking and problem-solving ability
  • Improve technical interview readiness
  • Strengthen their resumes for campus placements

Students who complete this pathway are better prepared to pursue careers in AI development, data science, software engineering, and technology research.
